The route finder and budget calculations run in your browser. Saved comparisons and checklist progress use local storage on this device. They are not submitted by these tools to TeachAtlas.
Hosting and external links
The hosting service may process ordinary request and access information. Source links take you to external organisations with their own privacy policies. Fonts are hosted on TeachAtlas. We do not use advertising trackers. Newsletter subscriptions are explained below.
Newsletter subscriptions
The newsletter is operated by TeachAtlas, the independent information project founded by Mihail Florin Gavrila. Hostinger processes hosting and email transport for this service. We use your email address with your consent to send the monthly newsletter and necessary subscription confirmation messages. Daily news articles are published on the website and do not trigger daily marketing emails.
The signup records your email address, consent wording and timestamps, confirmation status and withdrawal. A short-lived, hashed connection identifier is used to limit abusive submissions. Subscription data is stored separately from public website files on Hostinger. Unconfirmed email addresses are cleared after seven days. When you unsubscribe, the deliverable address and confirmation tokens are removed; a minimal keyed hash and consent/withdrawal history are retained to prevent accidental re-enrolment and evidence your preferences.
You can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link in every issue. Where applicable you have rights to access, correction, deletion and restriction, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. A dedicated, verified public TeachAtlas contact channel for these requests has not yet been published; this is an outstanding operational limitation and does not remove your rights. The founder page is a biography, not a privacy-request channel. Mail transport acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
Keep sensitive information private
Do not put passport numbers, health records or financial account details into the planning tools. Use official secure channels when an employer or authority needs documents.
